SUNDAY MORNINGS AT 9AM IN THE CHAPEL (ROOM 108) - FOOD PROVIDED - ALL ARE WELCOME
TAUGHT BY ROBBIE AND MICAH
Our young adult community has moved from Sunday evenings to Sunday mornings. This time is a time of deep relevant Bible teaching, strong community, and a diversity of ages (not just young adults).
War is an acronym that describes our highest values for young adults at MAC.
W - Word: We are transformed as we encounter God's Word, not just in trivial ways, but in digging deep in our understanding.
A - Age-diverse: We grow as believers when generations are together (multigenerational), speaking into each other's lives. We can find ourselves both giving and receiving wisdom when we are in a multigenerational context.
R - Relationships: Rather than just hearing the Word and deceiving ourselves (James 1:22), we seek to work out the implications of truth in the context of community, wrestling together with what application might look like in each of our lives. This includes living life together outside of Sunday mornings (discipleship/mentorship). It also makes room in the "class" for not just Bible teaching, but honest discussion of what the teaching means.
We are at War as believers. We are in desperate need of armor. Sunday morning at MAC provides a format for us get ready.
War is messy. It is real life, no facades, you see people as they are. There are big casualties in war (sin), but also huge victories (bringing it into the light and finding forgiveness and healing in Christ). Also, when speaking of community, there is no closer bond than between those who have fought together.
Please join us any Sunday morning from 9-10 in the chapel (room 108). Everyone is welcome. If you have any questions please email Robbie @ firstname.lastname@example.org.
