We’re inviting parents (and others) to gather and pray for our kids.  Parenting can be hard and the endless decisions regarding school choice, use of technology, friend influences, extracurricular activities - it can be overwhelming!  These decisions require constant discernment, but also consistent support.  That’s why we’re going to gather to pray for our parents, our kids, and our schools and administration.  God once challenged his people (who were exiles in the Babylonian empire) to “seek the peace and prosperity of the city in which you live, and pray to the Lord for it. For if it prospers, you too will prosper.” (Jeremiah 29:7)  This gathering is one practical way we can do this!  So come join us.  Invite a friend.  Pastor Micah will share his heart and we’ll also provide some practical resources and avenues for connection with other parents.  Coffee and dessert will be provided as well as childcare for 5th grade and under (DIG will be at the same time so drop off your Middle School student in the gym and come to the worship center for prayer.)  Questions? MAC Young Adults are once again hosting a potluck with Steadfast, our senior adult group, on Sunday, Jan 28 at 5p in the Chapel. If you are a high school graduate through early 30s, or if you’re a senior adult, we’d love to have you!  This is an awesome opportunity to connect and make some friends from another generation.  Bring some food to share and plan to stay for games after dinner!

If you love decorating for Christmas or are looking for a place to serve, we invite you to join us in decorating the building for the Christmas season on November 26th! We especially need people who are willing and able to climb up ladders for some specific projects. We will also be setting up trees and decorating the foyer. Lunch will be provided!

We invite you to join us for an evening give voice to our brokenness and pain.  This gathering will be on Sunday, Nov 19 from 6-7p.  In the morning Pastor Micah will be sharing a message on Plot Twists: When Life Doesn’t Go Your Way.  This message will focus on pain and loss, and the need to address our pain, give intentional time to grieve our losses, and the reality of living in a broken world.  In the evening we invite you to come back for a time of worship, prayer, reflection and expression.  Together we can bring our losses to the feet of Jesus, recognizing He knows our pain, listens to our cries, and offers His people comfort.

This is our monthly community gathering with food, childcare and speakers for foster/adoptive families. All foster/adoptive families are welcome!
