MAC is involved in providing support and encouragement for foster care and adoptive families.

Here are some ways MAC is involved:

The Foster Closet

MAC provides clothing and other basic items, free of charge, to foster/adoptive families. To take advantage of this opportunity, call the church office at 251-3983 to schedule an appointment with Lara, MAC’s Foster Care director.

Hosting Monthly Meetings

MAC hosts a free foster care dinner and meeting from 5:30pm-7:30pm on the 3rd Thursday of every month. Free childcare is provided. Each meeting features a different guest presenter who shares on a topic related to foster care / adoption.

Support/Encouragement of Child & Family Services Office in Missoula County

MAC supports our local Child and Family Services office by encouraging staff members with monthly lattes or other treats, as well as providing lunch and snacks during the quarterly licensing trainings for foster families. MAC also works with staff to provide resources for families that the department does not have funding for.

Empowered to Connect Conference

MAC is excited to be hosting this nationally recognized simulcast on April 5th & 6th from 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. both days.  The cost is $20 per couple/family and covers two days of training on how to better serve children impacted by adoption and foster care.  A workbook, snacks and coffee are included in this event.  Free childcare will be offered both days.  To register, please go to  Any questions?  Contact Lara at or 251-3983, Ext. 20.
