MAC Kids
MAC Kids is passionate about helping kids experience the life-changing grace of Jesus! Our desire is to lead your children into the presence of Jesus and help them experience his love and grow in their faith. With current, interactive, age-appropriate materials, we seek to engage kids of all ages with the truth of God’s Word and the beauty of His grace. All MAC Kids volunteers are trained and background checked.
First Time Check In
If you’re new to the church, please visit the MAC Kids desk in the Foyer to register your child. We have trained volunteers ready to greet you and your children, show you where your classroom is, and explain the pick up process to you.
Classrooms
NURSERY - Ages 0 - 2 Years
Our nursery is located downstairs. Our volunteers are ready to play and hold your little one so you can enjoy the worship service! Check in is located in the nursery. You will pick your child up from the nursery at the end of the service. Be sure to keep the security label that prints out with your child’s name tag, it’s required for pickup.
PRESCHOOL - Ages 3 & 4 - 5 Years
Once you check your child in at the MAC Kids kiosk in the gym, please bring your child to the Worship Center to enjoy worship together! During greeting time your child will be dismissed to their classroom off the gym. You will pick your child up from their classroom at the end of the service. Be sure to keep the security label that prints out with your child’s name tag, it’s required for pickup.
GRADE SCHOOL - 1st-5th
Once you check your child in at the MAC Kids kiosk in the gym, please bring your child to the Worship Center to enjoy worship together! During greeting time your child will be dismissed to their classroom off the gym. 1st - 5th graders can expect a classroom full of fun and learning! We use curriculum specifically targeted for this age group to walk them through the entire Bible. Kids will encounter Gods' Word in a fun and creative way and they will be challenged to take their faith into everyday applications!
Curriculum
Our MAC Kids classes use Lifeway’s The Gospel Project for all classes. The Gospel Project takes kids on a Christ-centered, chronological 3 year journey through Scripture where kids will discover how the gospel unfolds from Genesis through Revelation. When kids truly experience the gospel, their hearts are transformed. It is the gospel, not good behavior, that changes everything. Each Sunday your child will come home with an action sheet with follow up questions and verses for you to dive in further as a family. Our hope and prayer is to partner with you as you disciple your children and to give you tools to help guide the conversation. Lifeway also has an app that you can download onto your smart device to follow along with your child.
Other Options During the Services
ACTIVITY BOXES
If your young child is more comfortable staying in the service with you, we offer Activity Boxes at the Info Desk for you to borrow during the service. Activity Boxes include quiet activities to keep your child entertained during the service.
ACTIVITY PAGES
Activity pages are an exciting and innovative way to help your kids (Grades 1-5) identify and apply the main message of the sermon. Children are able to remain in the service where they can complete their sheet and be an important part of our church family. Please stop by the Info desk in the Foyer to get started!
NURSING MOM’S ROOM
Located off the Foyer, our Nursing Mom’s Room is available for moms seeking more privacy with their child. The room is designed with a window into the Worship Center and speakers to make you feel apart of the service.
FAMILY ROOM
If your child is not quite ready to sit through a service, please enjoy our Family Room, located off the Gym in Room 204. There is room to roam around, children’s books to read, comfortable couches to watch the live sermon, and a changing table stocked with all essentials!
