Ministry in Missoula

MAC has a long track record of ministry in Missoula. It all started in 1957 with Everet Hanson who had a vision to plant a church in Missoula. Now, we have 58 years of growth and changed lives.

We are passionate about children, students, and adults and believe we will grow in Christ in the context of relationships. That is why we talk about doing ministry that is Intentional, Relational, and with a heart of Service.

Our Vision

God

We believe in the One who is infinitely perfect, existing eternally in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit. (Deuteronomy 6:4, Matthew 5:48. Matthew 28:19)

Jesus

We believe in Jesus Christ the true God and true man. (Philippians 2:6-11, Luke 1:36-38, 1 Peter 3:18, Hebrews 2:9, Romans 5:9, Acts 2:23-24, Hebrews 8:1, Matthew 26:64)

The Holy Spirit

We believe in the Holy Spirit, a divine Person. He lives within all believers to teach, guide and empower. (John 14:15-18, John 16:13, Act 1:8, John 16:7-11).

Forgiveness of Sins & New Life

We believe in the forgiveness of sins provided through Jesus Christ for all men; and that those who repent and believe are born again of the Holy Spirit, receive the gift of eternal life, and become the children of God (Titus 3:4-7).

The Church

We believe in Christ’s body the Church which consists of all those who believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, are redeemed through His blood, and are born again of the Holy Spirit. The local church is a Body of believers in Christ who are joined together for the worship, the study of God’s Word, prayer, fellowship, communion, and baptism. (Ephesians 1:22-23, Matthew 28:19-20, Acts 2:41-47).

The Bible

We believe in God’s true and trustworthy Word. (2 Peter 1:20-21, 2 Timothy 3:15-16).

Hope

We believe in the Second Coming of the Lord Jesus Christ is imminent and will be personal, visible, and premillennial. This is the believer’s Blessed Hope and is a vital truth which is an incentive to holy living and faithful service. (Hebrews 10:37, Luke 21:27, Titus 2:11-14)

Christian and Missionary Alliance

About the C&MA

In 1887, A. B. Simpson started the missionary movement that became known as the Christian and Missionary Alliance (C&MA). Today, the C&MA supports 700 international workers in 58 nations and partners with churches in 70 countries and territories. For more details on the C&MA, visit cmalliance.org.

Great Commission Fund

C&MA missionaries are financed through The Great Commission Fund (GCF). MAC attendees can designate gifts to the GCF, which enables missionaries to reach lost people for Christ, trains national leaders, provides medical help to needy patients and helps start new C&MA Churches in the US. For more details on the GCF, visit cmalliance.org.

At MAC, we are about embracing and extending the life-changing grace of Jesus.
